Intrinzik Presents The next chapter of the Montrose room that had Goose, Consider the Source & The Jauntee before the rest caught on.

Now a promotion company booking touring-caliber talent with real production. Western Colorado home base, no ceiling, no borders. Intrinzik is rapidly becoming a Montrose, Colorado institution as well a favorite stop for the musicians touring this great county. The performers can definitely feel the love and appreciation from the most enthusiastic music loving folks to be found. Intrinzik is the phonetic spelling of the word intrinsic, as defined by the Oxford Dictionary: belonging naturally; essential. Music is definitely an essential part of the human experience. The concept of an essential musical experience is at the core of Intrinzik. Intrinzik is a simple music venue that strives to incorporate the input of our community, artists and touring performers.

Intrinzik Presents is launching the newest chapter of live music promotion in Western Colorado, and we could not be more stoked to be collaborating with Bluecorn to kick it off. This one is extra special: it's also Josh Fabian's 50th birthday party, and the entire night is a FREE PARTY.

We're beyond excited to announce that Denver's premier live electronic band, Photon, is headlining. Featuring Jimmy Dunstan of YAMN, Neal "Fro" Evans of Dopapod, and Chris Duffy of Magic Beans, Photon brings the deep, improvisational dance music that's earned them love from Live For Live Music and had MusicFestNews asking, "Why do you need to see them?" You do not want to miss this one.

And we're keeping it rolling late with an after-show set from Pinecone, the Paonia glitch-hop and downtempo producer formerly known as Psyruleus, to close the night.

Here's how it runs:
Doors: 7:00 PM
Photon: 8:00 to 11:00 PM
Pinecone late-night set: 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM

Free party, killer music, and a big birthday. 18 and over. Come celebrate with us.

Intrinzik Presents at Bluecorn. Friday, September 25. Free.
Bluecorn Cafe & Mercantile, 1842 S Townsend Ave, Montrose. RSVP on our Facebook Event so we can plan the room.
