Today is the birthdate of MxxMaster Sound; we are 14 today! Although Sean has been Mxxing sound a lot longer than that, January 27th, 2010 we officially started doing events as MxxMaster. What started with Sean needing to cover a few events here and there with double-booking starting to occur... as of 2023, Over 50 engineers did at least one event with us last year! Thank you all for being along for our ride (or taking us on yours!) and having us help you with your events!

99% of our events have been through word of mouth! (Which is why this page hasn't needed to be updated much!)

Happy 12th Anniversary MxxMaster Sound!

As everyone else in this business has, we’ve been riding the waves of working as much as we could in this last year. To our surprise, by the time Summer of 2021 hit, work had come back at a faster pace than we’d thought and then until December we were doing 4-8 gigs per week again.

Sean is grateful for his faithful engineers that have hung in there through the rains & shines of all that has affected us.

While simultaneously some of our techs moved on in locations and other career choices, we’ve also welcomed some new friends that have brought their talents and skills to the “Mxx” as we continue to grow and expand.

Sean would particularly like to thank our now resident “pyrotechnic girl” Mary West who has helped us streamline our gear loading, organizing, and shop work to lighten Sean’s back literally and figuratively.

Through it all we continue to retain our MxxMaster Team attitude of working together side by side with our Teammates and Clients to create a balanced sonic environment for those coming to see our shows and events.

Today is MxxMaster’s 10th Birthday!!!

Wrapping up 2019, MxxMaster did 24 more events in November and 47 in December—our busiest month to date.

Some Highlights from 2019 were:

- Ed Asner’s 90th Birthday bash with Steve Lukather, Darius Rucker & Jackson Browne

- Five Star Amphitheater for Zac Brown’s VIP Pre-party & Angel Stadium OC with Smith Country Band

- Little People of America’s yearly week-long convention in San Francisco

- Santa Monica’s annual Soulstice Event with 5 band stages/3 acts each stage

- San Pedro’s Fleet Week events

- High School Musicals micing large casts & orchestra support with several local schools

- Weddings and Corporates with many of our favorite Entertainment groups & Bands we’ve been working with for years; while joining forces to support talented new client relationships!

We are thankful, blessed & humbled to have continually grown each year through the word of mouth of those happy with our service!

Our engineers are our backbone and we appreciate their hard work and dedication to make teamwork a reality.

We love what we do! Thank you for having us!!
