After peeling, preparing, and packing every tiny quail egg by hand, it feels great to finally see the finished jars lined up. A lot of work went into this batch, and we are excited to taste how everything comes together!

These are Mild Jalapeño Pickled Quail Eggs, packed with 18 eggs in a pint jar with jalapeños and our seasoning blend.

Now comes the hardest part: waiting one week while they rest in the refrigerator and absorb all that flavor.

Small egg: Suprisingly Delicious

Quail eggs may be tiny compared to chicken eggs, but they bring a lot to the table. Their yolks take up more of the egg, which gives them a richer look and a delicious flavor.

A general rule of thumb is that it takes about 3 to 4 quail eggs to equal 1 chicken egg, but as you can see, their size and appearance make them stand out all on their own.

From shell to skillet, these little eggs are surprisingly impressive.

🥚 This morning’s little treasure hunt!

We gathered a fresh bowl of jumbo quail eggs today, and no two are ever marked quite the same. Those tiny speckles make every collection feel a little special.
