The goal was to provide kids in the 5-12 age group a fun and safe place to play and explore. The church dreamed big and envisioned a new play area!

The original plan at this location was a field about 100’ away from the church. But that wasn’t conducive to safely getting to-from the playground from the church. They also thought of the parents and caregivers who may have kids in both age groups needing easy access to both play areas.

So the plans changed and they reimagined a place right next to the 2-5yo playground and church access. A perfect solution!

They matched the new equipment colors with the existing 2-5yo play area and upgraded the safety surfacing to poured in place. 😍

Don’t you love a before and after?
This apartment complex in Midlothian, VA updated and upgraded their playground equipment this summer. And check out all of the lovely natural 🌲 shade so families can play longer during those warm summer months ☀️ .

The new play area features equipment that offers something for all ages:
- climbing tunnel and stepper pods (a fan favorite)
- overhead climbing ladder (awesome for testing limits and building upper body strength)
- mountain climber (helps improve coordination)
- 5’ slides: every kids favorite

We hope the kids, teachers, and parents will love:
- separate play structures for the two age groups (2-5 and 5-12)
- shade attached to playground for the younger kiddos
- net climber to get from the 4’ deck to the 6’ deck (a brand new design option!)
- spiral slide
- slides and climbing options for both age groups!

Nestled along the tree line (❤️much needed shade on a hot VA day) with neutral colors, this Williamsburg neighborhood playground blends right in for a timeless aesthetic. It also checks all of the boxes that make a playground pretty perfect:

We love a good theme! This fun “Natural Landscape” KidsTale playground is located in Fredericksburg, VA and we love it! It features a Spiral Slide, Suspension Bridge, and some fun climbers: a Boulder Climber, Squirrel Climber, and Leaf Climber.

We hope the kids and parents love it as much as we enjoyed designing and installing it!
