SUMMER 2020 SESSION ENROLLING NOW!
Summer gives dancers the opportunity to work intensively and practice for consecutive days. This allows for deepening your understanding of technique, process and body awareness in a short amount of time. The results are rewarding, and we have a really good time!

The Velveteen Rabbit Performance Intensive
July 13 – 25 – 2 weeks
Intermediate/Advanced
Ages 11+
Monday – Friday – 9 – 4pm
Performances Friday evening & Saturday matinee, TBD
The Performance Intensive gives dancers the opportunity to fully delve into the process of creation and preparing to share work through a formal performance. Dancers will learn ballet, pointe and modern choreography as well as create choreography for a dance interpretation of The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams. There will be two public performances of the work at the end of the two weeks. Dancers will have daily Ballet technique, Pointe, Modern and Composition classes.
We will take field trips to swim and rehearse at the performance sites. Please pack water, healthy snacks and lunch, bathing suit and towel for sprinkler fun!

Intermediate Beginners Dance Intensive
July 6 – 10
Ages 8 – 10
Present Level 2 & 3 Students
Monday – Friday – 9 – 3pm
w/performance Friday 2:30pm
Dancers will have daily Ballet Technique, pre-pointe and Contemporary or Modern classes. We will work on a classical ballet variation as well as an original modern and contemporary piece. Dancers will show their work at the end of the week. Please pack water, a healthy snacks and lunch, bathing suit and towel for sprinkler fun! Swim trip to local pond weather permitting.

In the Land of Fairies and Elves! Dance & Visual Arts Camp
July 22-25
Monday – Thursday – 9am-12pm
Performance Thursday 11:30am
Ages 4-6
Explore the world of Fairies and Elves through dance and art. Begin the day with woodland animal yoga and then discover ballet and modern dance through imagery and play. Dancers will make dances, wands and crowns for an exciting performance at the weeks end.

Wild Things!
August 3 - 7

Ages 5-7
Present Pre Ballet & Level 1 students
Let the wild rumpus start! Dancers explore the wild things story with movement, making dances and visual arts. Week includes daily Ballet and Modern technique classes. Dancers will present their work in a wild performance.
Please pack water, healthy snacks and lunch, a smock and bathing suit and towel for sprinkler fun!
