Looking for something "sweet" to do this Friday on your last weekend before summer break?

The International Thespian Society Troupe 8025 is partnering with the Musical Theater Club from Montoursville Area High School to put on "Broadway A la Mode," a musical theater cabaret concert. There will be desserts served included in your admission while you can enjoy many musical performances by members of both clubs! It is being hosted at C.E. McCall Middle School at 6:30 PM. It is $5 for admission, and doors open at 6:00 PM.

This event is purely student-run. Club members organized and held "auditions," sign-ups for food, rehearsals, and taught group numbers. Students who aren't performing on-stage will be serving desserts and beverages to the audience members.

This is our official last event for the 2025-2026 school year, and we would love it if you could attend to support our theater program!

⭐️ The students’ hard work, love for the arts, and talent deserves to be celebrated, recognized and showcased!

With our Memorial Day Ceremony performance complete, the Marching Warriors have ended their year! We are always deeply honored to be a part of this event and cannot imagine a better community to share it with. We’ve also been a little behind on our posting, so we’ve got more to share!

First, we want to congratulate our new Junior Drum Major Evie!! We had some incredible applicants this year and are so proud of all who auditioned! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for both Evie and Kaitlyn next season!

And to wrap up our year, a new tradition was born at MAHS. As our Seniors have officially completed their last performance today, they concluded their time by delivering the Junior Class varsity jackets, complete with hand written messages to each member. This passing of the torch ends the band chapter for our current Seniors and begins the journey for our Juniors and we cannot wait to see what they do next year!!

To our Seniors, remember that Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior! But for now… Band dismissed!!!

We've had such a whirlwind 2 weeks of concerts for our Spring Season that we forgot to share it all with you until just now! 7 concert in 10 days with dozens of pieces performed by hundreds of our Warriors really does prove just how much these students can do! We couldn't be more impressed by their efforts and thank everyone who came out to share your time supporting these amazing young Warriors! We've still got plenty left to store for May, but for now, we are still beaming with pride at what we've seen and heard these last 2 weeks and hope you all feel the same too!

A huge congratulations to our very own 8th grade trumpeter, Kendyl, on her first public performance of Taps during this year's PA State Police Troop F Memorial Ceremony yesterday. This event offers an opportunity to honor and remember those who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and we are so honored to be asked to be a part of this for the second year in a row. Thank you to Captain Doebler for this invitation and we hope to continue to showcase our student's talents and hard work while giving back to our community!

On Friday, April 24th, Alice Ravert, for her third and final time, performed alongside the elite choral singers of Pennsylvania at the PMEA All-State Choral Festival under the direction of Dr. Brian J. Winnie at the Kalahari Conference Center. Dr. Winnie is the Director of Choral Studies at Western Illinois University where he supervises the graduate choral conducting program, teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in choral conducting and choral literature, and conducts the Chamber Singers and the "flagship" ensemble, the University Singers. In addition to an amazing experience rehearsing with Dr. Winnie, Ali auditioned and placed 4th in the state on her voice part. Congratulations, Ali! We are so proud of you!

We are thrilled to share some monumental news! For the 10th consecutive year, the Montoursville Area School District has been officially recognized as a "Best Community for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation.

To receive this national designation once is a wonderful achievement, but to maintain this standard of excellence for an entire decade is a true milestone. This honor is awarded only to districts that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the arts, ensuring that music isn't just an elective, but a vital part of every student's journey. It celebrates the work within our administrative leadership, continued financial support, and a community that truly values the power of what we do here every single day.

Ten years of awards is a beautiful reflection of our past, but more importantly, it's a promise to our future. Thank you for being a part of that promise!

Today McCall sent 8 vocalists and 6 instrumentalists to the PMEA District 8 Jazz Festival at Berwick HS. Great job keeping jazz alive and vibrant today!

We want to extend a huge congratulations to our very own Lindsay for being selected as the Montoursville recipient of the annual Repasz Award! Lindsay is not only a member of the Band and Cheerleading squad, but also an active member of numerous clubs and organizations on campus as well as within our community. Her dedication and persistence throughout her years in our program truly showcases what being a Warrior Musician is all about!!

As part of the award, students were invited to rehearse and perform with the Repasz Band on their spring concert, held on April 7th at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center. Congratulations again to Lindsay and to all recipients of this award!!
