🔥 HEADLINER ALERT 🔥

Dan Mogol won a lottery to perform three minutes at The World Famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip in 2003. That’s when the dream began. After college, slinging food, pounding nails, and selling office supplies just somehow couldn’t compare to the feeling of being on stage. So he began pursuing standup comedy and quickly found his calling. Dan was a semifinalist in the 2010 Acme Comedy Company-Twin Cities Funniest Person contest and runner-up in the 2014 House of Comedy-Funniest Person With a Day Job contest. His life as an up-and-coming comic was detailed in a City Pages cover story in 2015.

Since then, Dan has appeared as a featured comic on “On The Fly with Tony Fly” on WFTC29, and took an Uber ride with Fred Willard and T-Pain on “Surprise! Instant Christmas Carol” on TBS. He's lent his voice to radio commercials for Walgreen's, Hallmark and J.C. Penney’s. He’s opened for Fortune Feimster, featured for Ronny Chiang at Comedy on State in Madison, WI, and headlined his first show, at the House of Comedy, in 2017.

Devohn Bland is a Minneapolis based Comedian, activists, and musician. He has opened for Geoff Tate, performed in the 10000 Laughs Comedy Festival, and is a Co-founder\ Host for Uproar Performing Arts at Du Nord Craft Spirits. His roommates cat loves him very much.

PERFORMER HIGHLIGHT!

Born and raised in Saint Cloud, Minnesota; a city as large as it is small. Comrade Tripp was a featured performer in the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in 2017. He was a finalist in Sisyphus Brewing’s 2017 Funniest Person in Minneapolis Contest when he didn’t live in Minneapolis and The House of Comedy’s 2018 Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest when he was unemployed. He is no longer unemployed and has moved to the Twin Cities area, but is still quite sad. Since escaping Saint Cloud he has taken second place in both Contests, he still lost but he’s a better loser now. He was also named one of Growler Magazine’s Comics To Watch 2020 . Despite his despondent disposition, He’s child at heart, insomuch that he cannot be trusted to take care of himself and has no self esteem whatsoever.

Last, but certainly not least, the Headliner of the second installment of Pitra’s Picks: Ryan Kahl!

Ryan is a stand-up comedian based out of Minneapolis, MN. He has performed in The 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Cream City Comedy Festival, was a finalist in the 2017 Funniest Person in Minneapolis Contest, and was a 2018 Growler Magazine Comic To Watch. In addition to being a successful stand-up comedian, Ryan has slept with up to eight women.*

Minneapolis-based comedian Grant Winkels has been performing comedy since 2015. After years gigging as a musician, he finally convinced himself that he was funny. He’s been trying to convince audiences ever since.

Grant produces and hosts two monthly shows in the Twin Cities, Lowertown Laughs and Tornado Room. In 2019 he appeared in the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis.

“St. Cloud based comedian Max Wirz was born, raised, and continues to live in St. Cloud. He has almost never left St. Cloud, and you can tell.

He did adventure out to Duluth for a year where he started doing comedy. After a year of being away he moved back to St. Cloud where he started a weekly comedy open mic called A Keller Open Mic, that runs every Wednesday at 10ish at The Keller Bar (you should come to this), and a monthly comedy showcase on a Friday towards the end of the month called Laughs At The Loon Comedy Showcase held at The Pickled Loon (you should come to this too. It's this friday actually)”
