Plan now to join us for our big birthday party on July 7th at 6pm at the Lawrence County Civic Center!
You have heard about the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our country, with celebrations going on throughout the year. Luckily, our Building will celebrate her 100th Birthday, so let’s celebrate!

Mississippi Humanities and the America 250 Mississippi Committee have awarded us a grant to help with the cost of having this party. You are invited!

Tickets are available now in our office, free of charge.
In order to provide enough birthday cake and light refreshments, we need to know who is coming! You may reserve a ticket by calling 601-587-4422.

Patriotic decor, with a Red,White and Blue theme is planned, so come dressed accordingly!

Four local citizens will give brief speeches about our history and showing how important Lawrence County was in the early development of our beloved country.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Birthday Party!

⭐️We are planning a party! ⭐️
Thank you to the Mississippi250 Grant Committee with the Mississippi Humanities Council for our matching grant to provide an America250 Birthday Party for you at your Lawrence County Civic Center! It is an exciting time for our country and for us!
Our building will be celebrating its 100th Birthday, so we will have a double celebration!
Tuesday, July 7 at 6 pm we will have a short program highlighting our history and then birthday cake and socializing!
Celebrate our Country and our building with us! More details coming soon! RSVP will be encouraged.

Saturday and Sunday Closed.
Museum tours will be available from 9-2.
We apologize but there may be a few sporadic dates where we have to be closed for staff development or other private events.
