Broken Levee Woodworks finished my Mahjong racks!!!
He has all the deets on how he made them that weā€™ll share later. For now, I had to show yā€™all how beautiful they are!!

My set is officially ready to play and Iā€™m so excited about it.

I am still going to make a few little things for it. First, I want to try and see if I can get a set of dice made from clay without them being weighted wrong. And I plan to throw a small trinket dish on the wheel to hold the dice as well. I also have an old quilt that Iā€™m gonna attempt to make a bag to hold everything in to match my jokers!
Those things arenā€™t priority though, so for now, sheā€™s ready to play!

Mickey had fun designing the racks and said he would like to make some more in a few other types of wood. So while my tiles are one of a kind, the racks can be purchased!
You can find them on our website at thenestcreativeartsstudio.com under the ā€œBroken Levee Woodworksā€ tab. Thereā€™s 4 types of wood to choose from: walnut, maple, cherry, and poplar. Iā€™m biased towards the walnut though. LOOK how beautiful they are!!

Itā€™s that time again! We are planning a new collection of artwork to display in the pocket gallery from November- March. If you are an artist and would like to submit a piece, please do so to [email protected] with the subject as ā€œpocket gallery.ā€ Once we get enough to fill the alleyway, we will get them switched out!
In the meantime, be sure to stop by and check out the current collection before itā€™s gone!
