Siamang hands feature four long, slender fingers and a short, opposable thumb set high on the wrist, which creates a powerful hook-like grip used for rapid tree-to-tree swinging. Cat paw pads are made of thick, cushiony keratinized skin filled with fatty tissue. They are far more than just something to walk on. They have many useful and clever attributes. They act as shock absorbers, provide traction, help regulate body temperature, and function as sensitive radar tools. And you just wanted to cover them with socks. Shame! These feet are beyond neat!
