🧵🍂 THE QUILTS ARE UP, THE SUN IS OUT, AND DOWNTOWN MONTGOMERY IS THE PLACE TO BE! ☀️❤️

What a beautiful day for the Montgomery Quilt Walk! The quilts are fluttering in the breeze, the weather is absolutely gorgeous, and historic downtown Montgomery is filled with color, creativity, and plenty of things to see and do!

If you haven’t visited yet, there’s still time! We’re here until 4 PM TODAY, and we’d love to see you!

❤️ More than 200 quilts are on display throughout downtown, from traditional patterns and intricate appliqué to colorful modern creations and everything in between!

⛪ Wander through our beautiful historic Baptist and Methodist churches, where quilts fill the pews and every turn reveals something new.

🛍️ Explore our wonderful Quilt Walk vendors, shop the unique boutiques and antique stores, and support the small businesses that make downtown Montgomery so special!

🏆🧵 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MAYOR'S CHOICE AWARD WINNER! 🧵🏆

A HUGE congratulations to Judah Harrison, whose incredible Texas Longhorn quilt was selected for the Mayor's Choice Award at the 2026 Montgomery Quilt Walk! 🎉👏

And did we mention that Judah is just 11 years old?!

Judah designed his Texas Longhorn quilt as part of a 4-H Fair project, combining creativity, technology, and plenty of problem-solving to bring his vision to life!

🪡 Judah first learned to sew at a 4-H fashion project meeting, where he helped make a quilt for Quilts of Valor. Since then, he's discovered that one of his favorite parts of quilting is sharing what he's learned with others! Judah hopes to continue using his talents to serve others and inspire a new generation of quilters. We think he's already doing a pretty amazing job of that!

🎉 Congratulations, Judah! We love seeing young people embrace the art of quilting, and we're so excited to recognize your creativity, generosity, and hard work!

🐾 A Quilt with a Heart — Helping Animals Find Their Forever Homes! ❤️🐶🐱

Be sure to check out the gorgeous Exploding Heart of Texas raffle quilt at this year's Montgomery Quilt Walk! This beautiful quilt was generously donated by our wonderful sponsor, Threaded Lines Quilt Shop, with proceeds benefiting Animal Shelter Volunteers of Texas (ASVT)! ❤️
