More than dance. More than technique. More than a stage.
Today, a few of our newest Academy and company members got a the opportunity to become family here. A beautiful yet simple reflection of the heartbeat of Steps of Faith Ballet Academy.
We took part of our mirrors down and they were able up to write their names beside other students names, alongside their favorite Bible verses.
A small act with a powerful reminder.
Because every time they stand at the barre, every time they face their reflection, every time they feel the pressure to be perfect or compare themselves to someone else, they will be reminded of a greater truth behind the mirrors.
Their identity is not found in their performance. Their worth is not found in applause. They are loved, chosen, and created by God with purpose.
At Steps of Faith, we are committed to pursuing excellence in dance, but we are even more committed to building young women and men who know who they are in Christ.
We train their bodies to be strong.
We train their minds to be disciplined.
But most importantly, we point their hearts toward the One who gave them their gifts.
This wall behind our mirrors will forever whisper the truth:
Remember who you dance for.
✨ “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31
This is what makes Steps of Faith different.
We are not just raising dancers.
We are raising worshipers, leaders, and young people who know their identity belongs to Christ.
