The Kobe High School program is looking for hosts for the kids and teachers. You can be single, don't need to have kids to participate. Board members Arly and Pam have hosted in the past and have enjoyed the experience. Also, a good way to become a tourist again in our own community.

Please pass on to others. Thank you

From Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (AAPI Vote))

Link to the webinar on birthright citizenship and the Supreme Court case Trump v. Barbara. We appreciated your interest in this important and timely conversation.

We had an engaging discussion that brought together legal experts, historians, and personal perspectives to explore the stories and legal strategy behind the amicus brief filed by Professor Eric L. Muller. The conversation highlighted how history, law, and lived experience intersect in shaping high-stakes litigation and public understanding of the Fourteenth Amendment.
If you were unable to attend live or would like to revisit the conversation, you can watch the full recording on YouTube.

Japanese American History event- this Saturday at Seaside Library! 550 Harcourt Avenue. The two presenters are longtime residents of the Monterey area and I expect them to share lots of interesting history from pre-World War II in America.

This is part one of a two part series this month.
