It's the 100th anniversary of the JACL Hall in Monterey, 424 Adams Street (near the Sports Center) Saturday, May 2, 10a-3pm. We will be there to help celebrate with Taiko at 2:30pm. Lots of different demonstrations all day, free event, come on by!

Palenke Arts Moonflower Festival is Saturday, April 18, at Seaside High School. This FREE event is a celebration of AAPI culture, music and dance and will feature wonderful Asian American and Pacific Islander ensembles and over 100 performers. We will open the festival at 11am and drum until 11:30am. Artisans and community booths, art activities and food vendors will also be at the festival. See you Saturday, April 18!

It's Sea Otter Classic time! We will be drumming for the Gravel Race on Friday, April 17! Sea Otter Classic is at Laguna Seca in Monterey. See you on the course!

Thanks for the rain we received over the past week. The green of the tree on the MPC campus was deep and dazzling in the full, warm sunlight. We enjoyed the moments before the performance, chatting and laughing in the relaxed air.
