Money in music during quarantine? In the music industry I hear a lot of whining. I deserrrrve to be famous. If only one person would help me I’d make it. I am better than everyone on the radio. Poor me.

I get it, I’ve been there but . It’s not true. There are a million people fighting for your spot in the music business. They work just as hard as you and are just as good.

What will make you succeed over them? Education.

If you put the time in to learn about the business you so deeply want to get paid for, then you have a massive edge. Most people only want to sing or rap without doing the work.

The secret to getting paid and or getting signed? Music is 50%, learning the business is 50%.

If you have a phone, running water and a roof over your head you are among the top percentage of the world. No more whining.

Knowing why you “must” do music is what will give you leverage on yourself to push through when you’re losing hope. Even if you’re just having a bad day.

Understanding your “why” is what will drive you to do those every day things that it takes to get to your goal.

Consistently living in your “why”, thinking about it every day is what my celebrity clients do.

Finding your why (and writing it down) is the single most important exercise you can do that will ensure you realize your dream.
