Terrapin Roadshow rolls into Truckee August 15 & 16 for two extra special nights with the Terrapin Helm Ramble Band. Featuring Grahame Lesh, Amy Helm, Natalie Cressman, Reed Mathis, Jennifer Hartswick, Adam MacDougall plus surprise special guests and opening sets from the Helm Ramble Band. Terrapin Crossroads and the Lesh Family are thrilled to announce Bill Payne will be joining us in Glenwood Springs on August 23rd as a special guest! A founding member of Little Feat, Payne’s keyboard work is legendary.
Other highlights include openers AJ Lee & Blue Summit (5/31) and Midnight North (8/22, 8/23) will be joining the Roadshow as well, adding their talents to an already stacked set of lineups including Grahame Lesh, Jackie Greene, Bill Nershi, Amy Helm, Scott Law, Stu Allen, and more.

Terrapin’s soul is rooted in Northern California’s stunning natural beauty. Honoring that, we’re excited to announce we’ve joined non-profit environmental organization .

Founded in 2002 by Patagonia’s Yvon Chouinard and his fishing buddy Craig Matthews, 1% for the Planet certifies and verifies that its members donate 1% or more of total revenue to environmental non-profits. With nearly a billion dollars raised thus far, 1% for the Planet doesn’t dictate who members give money to, so long as recipients pass a vetting process ensuring they’re above board.

Who should we support?

We have some ideas, but we’d love to hear which local environmental orgs are near and dear our community’s heart. We want this to be inclusive, so please comment / tag in the comments!

Celebrating their 35th year, Fat Tire’s core values of community and sustainability via maximum fun dovetail perfectly with TXR’s shepherding of the Grateful Dead’s legacy into the modern age in beautiful outdoor environments.

Countdown to Monte Rio: Artist Spotlight, Jackie Greene

Jackie Greene is a name most of you are likely familiar with. Joining Phil and Friends back in 2006, his soulful vocals and guitar playing are a Terrapin fixture. While you’d guess from the NorCal native’s relaxed nature, he’s sitting on a heavy resume. Chart-topping solo albums, stints in the Black Crowes and Gov’t Mule, touring with Los Lobos, Buddy Guy, Huey Lewis, Susan Tedeschi, and loads more, even a song on Brokeback Mountain’s Academy Award winning score.

These days you can find him on the road with his Jackie Greene Band or jamming with other legends in ensemble showcases around the world. We hope you’re as excited as we are for Jackie to celebrate his twenty-year Terrapin anniversary in Monte Rio alongside Grahame, Lebo, Mookie Siegel, Jeremy Hoenig, Elliott Peck, and The Wolf Pack.

Just over a month away, the 2026 Terrapin Roadshow’s first stop is May 30 and 31 under towering California redwoods and alongside the Russian River – a truly iconic California setting in the heart of Grateful Dead country. Tickets are going fast, so get yours today (link, as ever, in bio)!

Did you catch Grahame Lesh & Dan ‘Lebo’ Lebowitz in the The Press Democrat? ‘Grahame Lesh, Phil Lesh’s son, said the series carries on Terrapin Crossroads’ ethos.

“We built it all out of that vibe,” he said. “Everything we do comes from the music of the Grateful Dead, and the music they drew their influences from.”’
