Join bestselling author Christina Baker Kline on Monday, May 11 for a special early launch event celebrating her new novel 'The Foursome', in conversation with Montclair author and professor Alice Elliott Dark.

Inspired by the astonishing true story of two sisters in 19th-century North Carolina — Christina’s own distant relatives — who married world-famous conjoined twins from Siam, 'The Foursome' brings a forgotten chapter of American history vividly to life.

DAYS OF LOVE AND RAGE

Pulitzer and National Book Award finalist Anand Gopal discusses 'Days of Love and Rage', his sweeping and deeply human account of six Syrians fighting to build a more democratic future amid war, upheaval, and authoritarianism.

Epic in scope yet intimate in detail, the book illuminates not only one devastating conflict, but the enduring human struggle for dignity, freedom, and hope.

Siri Hustvedt’s 'Ghost Stories', written after the death of her novelist husband Paul Auster, is both an elegy and a reckoning. In 'The Flower Bearers', Rachel Eliza Griffiths traces the intertwined stories of marriage, friendship, and survival following the knife attack on her husband Salman Rushdie, capturing both the beauty and vulnerability of loving deeply.

The conversation will be moderated by Montclair author Benilde Little, author of 'Welcome to My Breakdown'.
