The Montclair Art Museum (MAM) boasts a renowned collection of American and Native American art that uniquely highlights art-making in the United States over the last 300 years. Timed tickets are available online and must be reserved before your visit. MAM is operating at a significantly reduced capacity, so while same-day ticket reservations are allowed, availability may be limited. UPDATED COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY
The Montclair Art Museum’s COVID Policy has been adjusted to follow safety guidelines based on CDC recommendations.

-The Museum requires all visitors age 12 and older to provide proof of vaccination against Covid-19 or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the day of your visit or attendance of an event. Proof of vaccination may include CDC Vaccination Card (or photo) or a digital immunization app.
-Masks are required for all visitors age 2 and older. All Museum programs are made possible, in part, by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, and by funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, Carol and Terry Wall / The Vance Wall Foundation, the Geraldine R.

SummerART 2026 has come to a close! Thank you so much to all of the campers, counselors, instructors and parents who have helped support this year's camp one of our best to date.

Montclair Art Museum offers a dynamic range of art classes, workshops, and camps for kids, teens, and adults. Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time or honing your skills, our programs are designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and explore new artistic techniques while offering a mindful, screen-free space to disconnect and focus on self-expression.

Travel to the Pacific Northwest with MAM and immerse yourself in the region's exceptional wines, craft beers and market hall fare, alongside a silent art auction, tasting, unlimited bar, and live DJ.

In tandem with the opening of "Nadia Myre: Analog/ues," and "Kate Dodd: You’re Invited!" is the Montclair Art Museum's first-ever Public Art Party, a free celebration from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, September 18 to welcome the community into the galleries to experience everything the Museum has to offer.

Huzzah! Join nonprofit Montclair Early Music (MEM) [] for Medieval Fest 2026 on Saturday, August 29, from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Montclair Art Museum.

Step back in time as armored knights clash in thrilling demonstrations, browse handcrafted treasures from talented artisans, and enjoy a variety of delicious food and refreshments. Experience live music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods featuring our guest musicians, The Musettes, Montclair Early Music, New Jersey Early Music, Charlie Rutan (bagpipes), and special guest ALBA Consort. Also featuring bellydancer extraordinaire Nabila.

Costumes are encouraged!
