❗🎅AUDITION NOTICE🎅❗

Join Studio Players in celebrating the Holiday Spirit with Ho Ho Ho! The Santa Claus Chronicles!

Directed by John Fraissinet, this festive holiday romp delivers laughter, mischief, and heartwarming cheer for audiences of all ages. When unexpected twists threaten Christmas as we know it, a cast of colorful characters must band together to save the season. Filled with playful humor, lively moments, and a touch of holiday magic, it’s the perfect outing for families and friends. Celebrate the spirit of the season with a show that reminds us all what makes this time of year so special.

Audition Dates
🎅Location: Studio Playhouse 14 Alvin Place, Montclair, NJ
🎅Monday September 14th at 7pm
🎅Thursday September 17th at 7pm
🎅Callbacks if required (invite only) Saturday September 19th at 2pm

Audition Process
🎅Seeking 10-20 adult actor ages 16 to 80 years of age (parts may be doubled) and 5-6 junior actors ages 8 to 15.
🎅Auditions slots will be scheduled in advance using the link in our bio.
🎅Those auditioning will be asked to read a scene from the play with a reader actor.
🎅Please bring a resume and/or headshot to the audition if available, or (preferred) fill out your application form in advance at the link in our bio (If you fill out the online form, no further paperwork is required).

Studio Players has a non-traditional, inclusive casting policy. All roles are open and everyone is encouraged to audition.

All actors must be available for all performances and tech week which runs Sunday Nov 29th to Thursday December 3rd. There will be a preview performance on the evening of December 4th. Please note, tech Sunday is part of Thanksgiving weekend.

Performance Dates:
December 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th with two performances at 1:30 and 3:30 each day

❗ AUDITION NOTICE❗

Join Studio Players for an unforgettable evening celebrating the music, style, and spirit of Broadway across generations. Featuring a talented cast of local performers, this cabaret-style concert highlights beloved favorites and contemporary hits from some of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals. Whether you love classic show tunes or modern masterpieces, you’ll enjoy an evening filled with unforgettable performances, theatrical flair, and the timeless magic that only Broadway can deliver. Perfect for theater fans of all ages!

Audition Process
Select a two songs you wish for us to consider
(ONE Golden Age/pre 1970s and ONE Contemporary/post 1970s)

Film yourself singing the songs 32 bars from each of the songs. You can either sing along with a live accompanist, or if you are able to find a YouTube karaoke version (or similar) you can use that as accompaniment.

Upload the videos to an online platform such as YouTube and make sure the link is viewable.

Fill out your submission by using the form linked in our bio!

September 4, 2026 by 9:00pm

We will let you know if you have been selected by September 10, 2026. Performance dates are September 25 and 26 at 8:00 pm!
