We had a great evening of music at the Round Room last night. There were 20 performers, including 4 newcomers. As always, there was a nice mix of music, with quite a few songs from the 60’s and really interesting interpretations of covers. Chris O’Connor brought the belly laugh of the night with his new song about The Old Man of the Mountain 😉! We had quite a few that came to listen as well which is always appreciated. I thank my co-hosts Christine and Joel for their dedication and hard work.

We will be back for our last night of the season on June 13th. Just as a reminder, we shut down for July and August. We hope to see you all next month.

And finally, Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mom’s, and to all your Moms!

The family of Ken Hasselbrack asked us to share information about his Celebration of Life. A note from his daughter:

We look forward to celebrating the life of Ken Hasselbrack on May 23rd at 11am with good food and great music. Please RSVP so we don’t run out of food! After a few formal tributes an open mic style celebration will commence. Bring an instrument and a memory to share. Huge thanks to Bob Pope for making that happen!

So sorry to hear our good friend Ken Hasselbrack has passed away. We're so grateful we got to hear him sing again this year! Thank you for all the great music through the years and for our most cherished Round Room stool. Peace & Love always!
