In November of 1973, I was "hired' to demonstrate the craft of stained glass in the halls of Quinsigamond Community College. That meant setting up a table in the hallway and showing my stuff to students & staff as they passed by.
I pre-cut the glass for this panel and stretched the lead, taped my pattern onto a small workboard and went to work.
I had also brought some glass, a cutter, breaking & grozing pliers to demonstrate cutting.
I don't remember lots about the event itself, but was lucky enough to have taken some notes afterward.
Here's the panel as it's looked since then (almost 53 years later!!).
