I wanted to create a piece that embodies Pittsburgh. When I think of Pittsburgh, three things immediately come to mind — steel, nature, and the people who bring the city to life. This painting is my tribute to what truly defines Pittsburgh. The bridges symbolize our steel heritage and resilience, the leaves and flowers reflect the city’s deep connection to nature, and the inhabitant represents the hardworking, creative people full of pride. The blue blocks symbolize the three rivers that flow through and unite the city. Together, these elements capture the unique spirit and balance that makes Pittsburgh unforgettable.
