Tonight, September 5 is Nelson Motorsports Night at the Fair - 6:00 pm (doors at 4 pm)!

Street Stocks, Super Stock Figure 8's, Mini Stocks, Stinger 8's and Outlaw Figure 8's at the Evergreen Speedway! Tickets are still available and include fair gate admission. Get them at the Red Gate or Grandstands box office!

September 5: Renée Roman Nose 1-2 pm in the Longhouse

Renée Roman Nose, MAIS, citizen of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, is an activist, artist, motivational speaker, poet, photographer, and cultural anthropologist. Author of Sweet Grass Talking (2017), and River of Life (2026) published by Uttered Chaos Press. Her poetry is also included in the recently released anthology, Freedom (2026), published by Bob Hill Publishing. Renée Roman Nose lives and thrives in the Pacific Northwest. Sponsored by Skykomish Valley Indian Education Parent Organization.
