We love sprinkling local art throughout all of our buildings — from bold murals like the iris by Jay Davis on the side of the building, to pieces like this gem by Courtney Wetzel, quietly adding character under the stairs at the Baker and Kress Buildings. Whether it’s front and center or hidden in plain sight, every piece tells part of Downtown’s story.

Monday, September 15 is the LAST day to register for the annual River Rat Paddle Challenge on the Ouachita River. This year's event features two races - the original longer race that departs from Joe Bob's boat launch and a shorter 2.9-mile race that departs from Forsythe Park. Both races end at Lazarre Park in West Monroe.
