Believed to be the only Turner (gymnast) Hall of Swiss origin left in the United States, the present building is listed on the National & State Registers of Historic Places. Its authentically Old World interior houses many irreplaceable paintings and Swiss artifacts as well as exemplary examples of Bauernmalerei (Swiss folk painting.) d American cuisine; a Grand Hall for performances, dances and event rentals; and a small 8-lane, family-friendly bowling facility. Turner Hall also produces the Swiss Heritage Series, an annual line-up of unique public performances and events.
