๐ A little heart-to-heart from this Margarita Mama... ๐
Y'all, owning a small business is NOT for the weak! Especially in your first year. Some days you're on top of the world, and other days life throws you a curveball you never saw coming.
As most of y'all know, the hurricane had other plans for us this weekend. All THREE of my big events were canceled or rescheduled โ the Towers Benefit Car Show, Monroe Fall Festival, and Covington Bike Fest.
I'm not going to lie, losing three major events in one weekend is a tough pill to swallow for a small business. Especially when you're a mama depending on that income to provide for your family.
But one thing about me... I've NEVER been afraid to work hard, and I'm not about to start now! ๐ช๐
I started Margarita Mama with a dream of being able to provide for my babies while still being PRESENT for them. I'm not trying to build some million-dollar empire. I just want to make a good living doing something I love without missing the moments with my children that I can never get back.
And thanks to so many of YOU, that dream is becoming my reality. ๐ฅน
So I'm putting this out there...
๐ If you've been thinking about having a party, booking a mobile bar, or even ordering a drop-off drink package, I'd LOVE the opportunity to earn your business!
Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas parties, office parties, girls' nights, or just because! Big or small, I'm your girl!
I'm also offering SPECIAL BOOKING DEALS right now for anyone who gets on my calendar, even if your event isn't until 2027! ๐
A few important updates:
The Towers at Snows Mill Benefit Car Show Kalebโs Cause Inc. has been moved to Sunday, October 18th, from 10โ5! PLEASE come support these amazing kiddos and their families. Benefits are so close to my heart. I've had so many people pour into me along the way, and being able to pay that kindness forward means everything to me.
City of Covington,Bike Fest has been moved to Sunday, November 8th!
Friends Monroe Grill opens Monday, October 12th! Make sure to show them some love, too!
And don't forget about Catch 22 Gastropub Monroe and Remi-D-Ink Tattoo. Richard Miley and Tasha Danielle Combs have been two of my MOST influential supporters through all of this and their businesses deserve to be supported. Seriously supporting them is so important to me.
And lastly, I just want to say THANK YOU.
When you buy a drink from me, book an event, recommend me to a friend, or simply share one of my posts, you're doing more than supporting a business.
You're helping a mama build a life where she can provide for her children AND be there for them. โค๏ธ
I don't expect anything to be handed to me. Never have. I'm willing to work for every dollar and every opportunity that comes my way.
I just need the opportunity to do it. ๐
This weekend may have put a little bump in the road, but it definitely hasn't taken away my determination.
I've got babies watching me, and I want them to grow up knowing that no matter what life throws at you, you keep showing up, working hard, and chasing your dreams.
So if you've got something coming up, let's talk! I'd love to help make it special.
And if you don't need anything right now, sharing my business with someone who might means just as much.
Thank y'all for loving on this little business of mine. I wouldn't be where I am without you. ๐ฅน๐
Love,
Your Margarita Mama ๐น๐
