It's another Friday tips for Santa's....

Guys it's getting close. When making a choice for a suit here are a few tips to assist you.
1. Always go for the most authentic look you can get. No vinyl belts or boots, get real leather.
2. No zippers when possible. This prevents accidents of forgetting to zip up the pants. There are exceptions when health/medical issues are at play. No zippers on the sides of boots; exception is some of us are older and have feet issues.
3. Always choose a suit with wide fur on the collar & cuffs. It's a more luxury look.
4. Always where a long sleeve white shirts and long white gloves to cover all skin. Gives a more magical appearance to the image of Santa. It also guards against the issue of where is Santa's hands?! White shows out the appropriate places hands can be or not be.
This is not an exhaustive list, but it's the major areas to look at. Always look to improve.

It's Friday my Brother's in Red....
Here's another Santa tip.

I see Posts on FB all over of Gents seeking a cheap Santa suit this time of year.

First, you needed to have your suit in hand back in July; that means you ordered it in February or March. Most quality suit makers are getting Orders Out not taking orders in. They are swamp. It's almost October, so you are behind.

Second, you really do not want a cheap suit. You'll regret it immediately. No one will want your look. Stay high quality in your standards and your look.

You as Santa should be ready now, not ordering, or experimenting with hair & beard products. So save this for your timeline prep for next year.

Ok Brothers in Red!
It's Friday once again and we have another tip for Santa's to work on to improve their business side.

Treat all Clients as a relationship being built for the long term. Use language that grows the relationship, not just treat them like business (not fire and forget).
Remember, Christmas comes again next year.

To All Santas, it's the next Friday in my series of mentoring other Santas to improve our business.
There's a book out entitled Man in the Mirror. It's about men realistically looking at their lives to honestly understand their spiritual relationship.
In that same perspective, Santas need to take an honest look at ourselves. Making upgrades to our wardrobe, improving our attitude, understanding our limitations, are we building relationships or just about making the money?!

By now, a Santa should be set for a suit, selected their beard/hair process, accepting engagements, recording on a calendar, etc. If you are new, do anything and every type of event you can get. Learning what suits you and your personality. For me, I learned I'm not good at doing home appearances for example. For now, it's where we are. It's time!
