Rest in Peace, Larry Smith, from Trellis Church. Larry was my dad's best friend. My dad unfortunately didn't get to say goodbye because of where my dad is right now. No one had any idea he was gonna pass so quickly. This is the 2nd death from my former home church. First one was Bill Fletcher, who I had seen more than an Elder from Church. Likewise with Larry. Larry would always greet you with a kind smile, no matter what was happening. When he'd respond, he would ALWAYS say, better than I deserve. Now Larry gets to walk with Christ, see all of his friends and family that left before him. I'm heartbroken for my dad and for those who will never get to meet a kind human being. Someone who spoke wisely. Someone who always was able to share the Good Word with you, no matter what you were going through. I'm taking today to be with family. From hearing that my husband's grandfather being diagnosed with cancer at 90 this week, to not being able to see my husband all week because of a mission, to this. Life sucks big time. Love your loved ones closer please. Love them harder. Love them like nothing else matters. Love them like Jesus would.
