These absolutely magical fairy cottages are the finished creations from Jen’s fairy cottage handbuilt pottery course — and we just had to show them off! ❤️

This is what we love about *handbuilding with clay*: you don’t need a pottery wheel to create something wonderful. With your own two hands, a few basic techniques and a little imagination, a lump of clay can become a fairy cottage… a bowl… a sculpture… a vessel… or something completely your own.

And if this video has you thinking, “I want to do that!”— October is a great time to start!

What a night. ❤️🎶

CRC FEST 2 was full of music, friendship, generosity and the kind of community spirit that means so much to all of us at MWCA.

First and most importantly, this festival exists in loving memory of *Christopher Rist Coffman*. Christopher was part of the MWCA family long before many of us knew just how deeply the Coffman family would become woven into the life of our art center. His memory was at the heart of the entire day, and we are deeply honored that CRC Fest continues to celebrate his life in such a joyful and meaningful way.

A huge thank-you to *Intension*, to Zach and Sam Coffman, and to every single band and musician who gave their time and talent to make the day so special. You filled Grizzle B**r with incredible music from afternoon into the night, and we are so grateful.

And thank you to Grizzle B**r for once again opening your doors, welcoming the community, and giving this festival such a wonderful home.

To the Coffman family — Donna, Chris, Zach, Sam and everyone who loved Christopher — thank you for allowing MWCA to be part of something so personal and meaningful.

And to everyone who came out, bought a ticket, listened to the music, raised a glass, cheered on the bands and supported MWCA: thank you. ❤️

CRC Fest is a fundraiser, yes — but it is also something much bigger.

It is music.
It is memory.
It is family.
It is community.

And most of all, it is a beautiful way to make sure Christopher is remembered.

October enrollment closes MONDAY!

Art ASAP — our *After School Arts Program* — runs September through April, but families register *one* month at a time. That means if your young artist wants to join us for October, now’s the time to grab their spot!

After Monday, the next enrollment period will be for November classes.

Art, creativity, new skills and a little after-school fun. ❤️

So yes… we really mean it:

👉 Register ASAP for Art ASAP! 😂🎨
