I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Wisconsinsheepandwoolfestival . It's one of my favorites. Such great energy and excitement for the upcoming sweater weather season -plus I get to sleep in my own bed 😊.

I'll be sharing a booth (505 & 506) with my fun friend Karen of Kaleidoscope Fibers Karen Coplai Anderson and all of her wonderful, laser cut creations!

It's out in Jefferson, WI at the fairgrounds Friday, Saturday and Sunday. See you there!

We're literally, and figuratively, "off to the races" today!🏁

I'm spending the day with my hubby (Paul Talk 🤭) at Road America in Elkhart Lake WI, watching the 🏁GT World Challenge Races 🏁 , and at the same, I've decided to cast on a new Riggies Vest, by Gudrun Johnston, with the hopes of finishing it before Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival in less than two weeks. Hence -off to the races for this knitting project too.

Somehow, in the middle of the night, I decided that I could use another sample for PurlTalk's "Squiggle " yarn, and I thought it looked super cute. I chose a newer colorway....Purple Rain. Ironically, its been a dreary rainy ish kind of day! But we're having a great time!

Looking forward to this upcoming fall show season!
There's a slight chill in the air....I smell sweater weather!

We so enjoyed knitting while waiting for the hi-jinx to start. I love all the zany, silly costumes and fun decorations that everyone thinks of. The Fools Flotilla is one of my favorite things!

I'd love to say that Paul and I romantically celebrated our 32nd Anniversary this evening by candlelight, however, that might not be exactly true...

Instead, power went out last night, and we're still without power and it's looking as though it might be fixed by tomorrow night at yhe earliest. Ughhhhhhh.

Yes, this is several months out, but im so excited to be a vendor at A Woolen Affair this year! Last year I was so disappointed to miss out because my health issues, but im back this year! I can't wait and will be preparing for this trip this summer.

Tickets are now on sale, so start planning your Rhinebeck trip! Get 'em while they last!

Hey- ho- way to go - Ohio!
Yes my friends, I may live in Wisconsin, but I'm back in Ohio, the state I was born in. Did you know i am a Buckeye?

I'm excited to be a vendor at the Great Lakes Show, only 20 minutes from my family's farm.
The show is this upcoming Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.
Im so happy to visit and stay with my family.

In the meantime, the purl talk website will be down until I get back next week. Looking forward to visiting with my Ohio fiber friends!
