We have a sweet idea for you. If you've ever wanted to join a musical group, come check us out at New Horizons Willamette Valley Orchestra in Monmouth. January was an exciting month of rehearsals as we welcomed four new members, saw a few former members return, and began our work on the Spring collection of music celebrating The American Landscape. We are a friendly group of musicans of all ages and talents that meet on Monday's at 6:30 PM at the Monmouth Senor Center. You are welcome to come observe or bring your instrument and play along. CALLING ALL MUSICIANS....There is a place for you at New Horizons Willamette Valley Orchestra. Have you played an instrument in the past and now it sits waiting for you to bring it back into the light? We would love to invite you to join us for a rehearsal at Monmouth Senior Center on Monday nights at 6:30 PM. We are an intermediate level orchestra that has spots for almost all instrumentalists.

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR PERCUSSION or KEYBOARD players. If you've played drums, hand percussion, mallets, or tympani in the past, come join us and make some great music in Spring 2026 as we plays selections that celebrate the American Landscape.

We invite you to share the holiday spirit with New Horizons Willamette Valley Orchestra as we perform Sounds of the Season in a performance at Dallas Retirement Village on Monday, December 8 at 6:30 PM. NHWVO rehearsals are on Monday nights at 6:30 at the Monmouth Senior Center.

We hope you and your family had a wonderful October. As we move into November, we are reminded how grateful we are for our communities and the opportunities they provide. New Horizons community orchestra is currently busy working on our holiday concert music to be performed in early-mid December. Have you been looking for a new creative outlet? If you have some experience with playing an instrument: strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion or keyboards, you are invited to come play with us at New Horizons Willamette Valley Orchestra. We are a mixed group of varying ages and abilities that join together on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 at the Monmouth Senior Center on Warren Street. Rehearsals start back up tonight and run each Monday. We are working on a collection of music for Monmouth's Downtown History and Mystery event on Friday October, 3.
