What a great way to end the last week of the summer feeding program. Thank you for all the help from the volunteers and community partners. Students played games throughout the week such as beat drumming and volleyball and had presenters from penn state coo op ext. Also stem activities provided from Mrs. Marsha Adams and arts and crafts from Mrs. Missy barber. And swimming and snacks on Thursday provided from Monessen communities that care. And thanks to the Westmoreland county food Bank and Miss Chrissy for feeding the kids and providing food for them and a special walking tacos treat on Thursday.

Also this week young ones from the Civic Center engaged in team building activities building Legos and engaged in fun activities like trivia and bingo. And then on Thursday thanks to sponsorship from Monessen communities that care and the YMCA we got to take The Young ones up to get swimming lessons and play on the playground and enjoy a snack. This week !!!!!
Though we had a short week for the summer feeding program I still think the kids had fun on Wednesday they did stem activities with Miss Marsha. And played board games. And on Thursday the kids got to enjoy a swim lesson at the YMCA thanks to Monessen communities that care. And shout out to the YMCA for allowing the kids to come and have fun today. This week with the summer feeding program. The students learned a stem activity which was making slime thanks to Mrs. Marsha Also this week the students should positive sidewalk art with drawing and trying to fill up a good part of the front sidewalk.
