THURSDAY THANK YOUS! 🖤💛

Well… James may not have been there last night, but apparently we don’t need him to have a good time. 😂
Don’t worry, James. We still missed you. A little.

Seriously though, THANK YOU to everybody who came out to the Broken Blackhawk last night. We had a fantastic turnout of comedians AND audience, got to meet some new faces, made some new friends, and added another wonderfully weird Wednesday night to the books.

And a special thank you to everybody who contributed to our growing collection of Broken Blackhawk artwork. 🎨 Some of it was impressive. Some of it was concerning. All of it belongs in a museum. Or at least on our refrigerator.

That’s one of our favorite things about this place. You might show up for comedy, but somewhere along the way friends are made at the Broken Blackhawk.

And we’re doing it all again NEXT WEDNESDAY with our next theme night:

Our friends at the Front Street Brewery Tap Room Open Mic have every other Tuesday covered, and we're holding down every Wednesday at the Broken Blackhawk Comedy Open Mic.

So here's your September comedy calendar. Save it. Screenshot it. Print it out and put it on the refrigerator next to your child's artwork. Replace your child's artwork with it. We're not here to tell you how to parent.

🚨 WE APPEAR TO HAVE MISPLACED JAMES DRAPER. 🚨

This Wednesday is a good old-fashioned Broken Blackhawk Comedy Open Mic. No theme. No gimmick. Just comics, an audience, Fabulous Mystery Prizes and whatever questionable decisions happen naturally.

There is, however, one small problem:

James Draper has mysteriously vanished.

We don't know where he went.

🎣 He may have finally become one with the fish.
🚌 He may be receiving the same mysterious “diesel therapy” Chris received.
😴 He may have simply overslept several days in advance.
🐟 He may have heard about a bass three counties away and abandoned his responsibilities.
📦 Or perhaps James himself is now a Fabulous Mystery Prize.

This raises an important question:

WHO WILL CAPTAIN THIS SHIP?!

🚨 FRIEND OF THE HAWK ALERT! 🚨

The Broken Blackhawk isn't the only place you can get some dope comedy around here.

Our Broken friend Samir Abdul is bringing The Laugh Hour to The Speakeasy, and he's bringing some familiar faces with him.

Our own Broken host James Draper will be there, along with two more Broken favorites—the lovely and hilarious Kira Jean and the equally lovely and hilarious Lou Palomino.

Basically, somebody gathered up a bunch of people we really like and put them on the same comedy show.

We approve. 🐦‍⬛
