Joyful Noise Choir took their voices outside the church today. We caroled at two local nursing homes 🎄🎄 The residents sang along at one home. ❤️

Our outreach project for this season is the Hearts for Guatemala giving tree. Each child picks a gift that is on the wish list for the Light of the World school. Items include books in Spanish, jump ropes, board games and puzzles that will be used in the classrooms.
We are so thankful for the generous hearts of the kids and families of Joyful Noise that have the desire to make a difference at the school in Guatemala 💜

What a great morning we had meeting for the first time in our new space! As you can see, we need every square inch of it! Here is a clip of one of the worship songs we did. We are so incredibly blessed with these kids!
There are some great things in store for this season of Joyful Noise. If you know any kids that like to sing, send them our way! We start practice for our Christmas performance 10/22 🎄

We had a fabulous time at our picnic! We ate, played games and got to spend time getting to know each other better. We missed those that couldn't be there, but understand summer is a busy season!! Next year we will plan it for after school is back in!

Joyful Noise presents a human smiley face for this first morning of daylight savings time! Lots of sleepy faces today, including the teachers!

Today we started writing letters to the Light of the World school in Guatemala. They will be delivered with the February mission trip.

We will finish up next week so they can be translated. The kids did a great job!

We were excited to be back to class today!
We started practicing for our TNT night performance on Feb 7th.

Then we got to open our piggy banks and count the money we saved!
Our goal amount to provide triangles, cluster bells, percussion sticks, tambourines and tambourine sticks for the Light of the World School in Guatemala was $204. Today we counted $215!
We can provide them everything on their wish list!!!

We still have some banks to be turned in. That money will go towards the purchase of the same instruments for the Joyful Noise class!

Some kids took back cans, did chores and even found coins in the seats of a restaurant booth! 😝

Thank you to the parents for supporting your children in this project!

The instruments for LOTW are being ordered this week and will be delivered to the school with the upcoming mission trip February 9th!
