Why do musicians think they have to put one another down to build themselves up...Especially if you play the same instrument Bass players for example...I don't have to compare my approach to any other bass player or talk down about their playing or style of playing to make it look as if I play better totally unnecessary!

It is important to keep in mind it's not what you play it's how you play the bottom of the groove being alert to what is needed less is more it's a musical conversation!
