Faith Academy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Color Guard Director to lead and grow a dynamic, student-centered program.
We are looking for an educator and leader who is passionate about developing performers, building a culture of excellence, and collaborating within a thriving band program.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Design, coordinate, and teach all aspects of the color guard program (marching band, winter guard, and auxiliary performances)
* Develop choreography, equipment work, and visual programming aligned with the band’s competitive and artistic goals
* Lead rehearsals, sectionals, and camps with a focus on technique, performance quality, and student growth
* Recruit, train, and retain students of all experience levels
* Collaborate closely with band staff and directors to ensure cohesive show design and ex*****on
* Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team environment
* Coordinate contest preparation, travel, and performances
Qualifications:
* Strong background in color guard instruction, choreography, and performance
* Demonstrated ability to teach and inspire students at varying skill levels
* Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
* Experience with marching band and winter guard programs preferred
