In May 2026, three Midwest theatre companies (The Black Rep, Powerful Long Ladder, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company) made history with an international collaboration to bring Italy's Sardegna Teatro production of August Wilson's JITNEY, in Italian, with an all Black-Italian cast, to the U.S..
