Fun fact about the necklace I originally made it to be entered in a art contest in kaibab for the powwow 🙂 and I was too late to enter showed up late on NdN time. Well it was MEANT to stay in kaibab. So I’m pretty excited for it to reach its destination. There is a lot of meaning behind this necklace.

I made it in colors that resemble a sunset 🌅
The ghost beads (cedar beads) came from kaibab as well someone gathered some for me & I used it in the necklace part. ❤️

I added a big horn sheep 🐑 to the bottom (split twig figurine) that the late Everett pikyavit Ehype made. These are many 🌓 moons old. And have been found in caves & still made to this day. I do make my own as well but wanted to incorporate my late cousins work into mine.

There’s many more things about this piece but I will just say a lot of LOVE was put into making it & I hope to make another one soon!
