These are the moments we want to remember. 💙

There will be plenty of big moments ahead. New routines, performances, competition weekends, accomplishments, and everything that comes with another year of dance.

But a season is made up of so much more than what happens on stage.

It's the people you spend it with. The friendships that grow along the way. The laughs between takes. The memories you weren't necessarily trying to make. And getting to look back someday and remember exactly what this chapter felt like.

We know how quickly these seasons go. Dancers grow, friendships grow, goals change, and before you know it, you're looking back at photos wondering how that much time could have passed.

So while we have so much ahead of us, we're grateful for the chance to capture a little bit of right now. The people, the relationships, the personalities, and this particular chapter of Studio B. 💙

Behind the B 💙

There’s so much more to a dance season than the polished routines, the awards earned, or the hard work happening in class.

It’s the laughs. The inside jokes. The team traditions. The completely random moments. 😂 It’s the time spent together that has nothing to do with perfecting a routine and everything to do with making memories.

It’s the moments between that make a team a
family. 💙

MOVEMENT MONDAY 💙

Not every part of training is meant to look finished.

The learning. The repetition. The corrections. The moments where dancers are still figuring it out. That’s where so much of the growth happens.

And together, this is Season 8. 💙

Six dancers. Three levels. One Company.

Throughout today, we’ve introduced the dancers who make up our Mini, Junior and Teen Companies and shared a little more about what we hope to build at each stage of their training.

Different ages. Different strengths. Different goals. But one shared commitment to growing as dancers, performers and artists.

Because being part of a Company is about more than showing up for choreography and stepping onstage.

It means committing to the training. Being willing to work. Taking corrections. Showing up for your teammates. Participating in the experiences that bring a team together. Trusting your instructors and trusting the process, even when you’re being pushed outside of what feels comfortable.

We believe the strongest dancer and teacher relationships are built both ways. Our job is to pour into our dancers, challenge them, support them, create opportunities for them and genuinely invest in where they want to go. In return, we ask our dancers to come ready to learn, work, communicate and invest in their team and their own growth.

That relationship matters.

When dancers truly buy into their training and allow themselves to be coached, something changes. They begin taking ownership of their progress. They understand that being challenged is part of being believed in. And the studio starts to become more than a place they take class. It becomes a team they have helped build.

We are a small Company this season, and we’re proud of what that allows us to build. It gives us the opportunity to really know the dancers standing in front of us, recognize what each of them needs and be incredibly intentional about the education, opportunities and challenges we provide.

Being small doesn’t mean thinking small, and we have big goals for these dancers and for Studio B.

We’re excited to pour into these six this season, and we’re just as excited to see what they pour back into their training, their teammates and Studio B.

Meet our Season 8 Teens. 💙

Keelie + Anabelle ✨

Our Teen Company represents a stage of training where dancers are challenged to take greater ownership of the artists they are becoming.

At this level, we’re not simply adding harder skills or more challenging choreography. We’re honing in on technique, strength, control, versatility and the details that turn movement into intentional performance. Just as importantly, we want our Teens understanding the why behind what they’re learning and continuing to build a well rounded dance education.

They are challenged to apply corrections independently, understand how to safely and correctly execute skills, adapt to different styles, develop their individual artistry and recognize the connection between how they train and how they perform.

As our dancers get closer to graduation, we also want their training to begin opening doors.

There isn’t one “right” path for a dancer after high school. College dance programs, dance teams, musical theater, teaching, choreography, professional opportunities and continued training can all look very different. Our job is to give our dancers a strong enough foundation that when they decide what comes next, they have the education, versatility and confidence to pursue it.

Competition is one part of that education, not the entire destination. As our dancers grow, we want to meet them where they are and help create opportunities that support their individual goals, whether that means a full competition season or finding ways for them to continue competing while pursuing other opportunities.

Ultimately, we want our Teens leaving Studio B knowing more than choreography. We want them to understand their bodies, their technique, their artistry and what they are capable of bringing into whatever room they walk into next.

We’re excited to watch Keelie and Anabelle continue refining their skills, discovering their own paths and preparing for everything that could come next. 💙✨

Meet our Season 8 Juniors. 💙

Tessa + Tinley ✨

Our Junior Company is where the foundations dancers build in their early training begin to grow into something more.

At this level, we continue developing strong technique while increasing the expectations placed on our dancers. Choreography becomes more challenging, skills require greater strength and control, and dancers are encouraged to become more versatile in the way they move and perform.

Our Juniors are learning to pick up choreography more quickly, apply corrections independently, pay attention to details and understand that how they train in the studio directly affects how they perform onstage.

This is also an important age for discovering who they are as dancers. We want them trying new styles, developing their artistry, building confidence and learning to take more ownership of their training while still having the space to learn, make mistakes and grow.

Competition gives them the opportunity to put that training into action, challenge themselves and gain valuable performance experience along the way.

We’re excited to see Tessa and Tinley continue pushing themselves and discovering just how much they’re capable of throughout Season 8. 💙✨

Meet our Season 8 Minis. 💙

Brianna + Brynnlee ✨

Our Mini Company is the youngest division of Studio B’s Company program, where dancers begin building the foundation for both their training and their experience as competitive dancers.

At this level, we focus on strong technique, dance vocabulary and learning how to work in a rehearsal setting. Our Minis are learning to pick up and remember choreography, take corrections, work as a team, perform with confidence and become more independent in the studio.

Competition gives them the opportunity to take those skills to the stage, but the goal at this level goes far beyond learning a routine for competition. We want them to understand that growth comes from showing up, practicing, being willing to try again and getting a little stronger each time.

These early years are where so many important habits are formed, and we’re excited to watch Brianna and Brynnlee continue building that foundation throughout Season 8. 💙✨

Meet the faces behind Season 8. 💙

A new season brings new goals, new ideas and another opportunity to grow, not only for our dancers, but as a studio.

At Studio B, we believe quality will always matter more than quantity, especially when it comes to the people surrounding our dancers. Our staff brings together creativity, experience, passion and different strengths that allow us to challenge our dancers while supporting who they are individually.

Behind every class and piece of choreography are conversations, planning, ideas, corrections, encouragement and a whole lot of thought about what will help each dancer grow. Because our goal has never been to simply teach routines and send dancers onstage.

We want to provide meaningful dance education that builds strong technique, confident performers and well rounded artists. We want to create opportunities for our dancers to compete, grow, discover what they’re capable of and, when the time comes, help them explore where dance can take them beyond Studio B.

Most importantly, we want every dancer who walks through our doors to know the people in their corner genuinely care about them and want to see them succeed.

Apply to train at Studio B

Studio B is evolving into something more focused, more intentional, and more aligned with the dancers we are building.

This is not a place for casual training.
This is for dancers who are ready to be pushed, challenged, and developed.

We are building a space for those who want more.
More discipline. More accountability. More purpose behind the work.

Not everyone is looking for that and that is okay.
But for the dancers who are, this is where they belong.

Season 7 marks a shift.
Stronger training. Higher standards. A clearer vision.

The work is intentional.
The growth is earned.
The results become undeniable.

This is how a legacy is built.
