Guest Artist Rebekka Anderson, brings her bold and colorful linocut prints to the gallery walls for November. Her imagery is inspired by the landscapes and the resilient wildlife residing in the western US. With a 20 year career as a national Park Ranger in numerous western Parks, she hopes her prints inspire advocacy for our incredible public lands. The paintings of Emberly Modine are now showing at the gallery. Entitled “John’s Valley Road,” the exhibit explores “the intersections of landscape, infrastructure, and memory.” Through a combination of stark realism and poetic abstraction, Modine offers a meditation on resilience and reclamation, asking viewers to reconsider how places are named, claimed, and ultimately reshaped. Join us for a reception in honor of Emberly Modine on Friday, Oct 3, 5-7pm.
