That's a Wrap on the 2026 Harrison County Fair!

As another incredible fair comes to a close, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year's fair such a success!

Thank you to our amazing vendors, 4-H and open class exhibitors, livestock exhibitors, and all of the families who spent countless hours preparing and participating throughout the week. Your hard work and dedication are what makes our fair so special.

Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond who came out to enjoy the fair, support our exhibitors, and attend our grandstand events. Whether you came for the livestock shows, exhibits, free entertainment, delicious food, rodeo, demolition derby, figure 8 races, or simply to spend time with family and friends, we appreciate you choosing to spend part of your summer with us.

To our sponsors, volunteers, entertainers, judges, superintendents, Harrison County 4-H staff and everyone who worked behind the scenes—thank you for your time, generosity, and commitment to making the Harrison County Fair a success. It truly takes an entire community, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

While we're sad to see another fair come to an end, we're already looking forward to next year!

📅 Mark your calendars! The 2027 Harrison County Fair will be July 14–18, 2027. Please note that we are moving up from our traditional week in July, so be sure to save the new dates now!

What a great day at our Backyard BBQ Competition! 🔥

A huge congratulations to this year's winners!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our BBQ teams for coming out, firing up the smokers, and battling the extreme heat to put on an incredible competition. We truly appreciate your time, talent, and support of the Harrison County Fair! Thank you to Wholestone Prestage for the meat donation and support!

A big thank you also goes to Rock N Roll Cowboyz for providing fantastic live music throughout the event and helping create such a fun atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the competition, cheer on the teams, and support the Harrison County Fair. We also greatly appreciate everyone who participated in the wood carving auctions. Your bids directly support the Harrison County Fair Board and help us continue bringing great events to our community. Thank you to Rex and Deb Gochenour for helping us auction off the carvings!

☀️ It's the final day of the Harrison County Fair! ☀️

With another hot day in the forecast, we've made a few adjustments to the livestock schedule to help keep our animals safe and healthy.

🐄 Updated Livestock Schedule:
• 8:00 AM – Parade of Champions & Overall Livestock Exhibitor Announced (Show Arena)
• Livestock will be released immediately following the Parade of Champions.
• The 4-H Share a Beef, Share a Goat, and Share a Sheep events have been canceled due to the extreme heat.

All other Sunday events will continue as scheduled, including:
🎶 Church Service with Gospel Music by Lasting Impressions to follow
🎈 Stars & Bars Inflatables
🎨 Balloon Artist
🪵 Boon Hill Chainsaw Carver
🍎 4-H Apple Pie & Muffin Auction in the AC!
🍖 BBQ Competition & Public Tasting
🎸 FREE Concert in the Park featuring Rock and Roll Cowboyz
💃 Line Dancing & Youth Dance
🎯 Bingo, Commercial Building, 4-H Exhibits, and so much more!

Please plan accordingly, stay hydrated, and take breaks in the shade throughout the day. We appreciate everyone's understanding as we make these adjustments with the well-being of our exhibitors and livestock in mind.
