to produce? Together we create a safe environment to explore your vision for a fully realized production of your play. You have the capacity to communicate your message in an integrated way that connects your heart and your body language to your ideas. I see that there are people checking out this page. Thank you.
Right now, like you, I am hanging out at home.
All rehearsals for the evening of short original plays "Time For A Quickie" have been postponed. You can play music at home. You can do art in your kitchen but theater is a social art. All I can do is learn lines and wait.
Today I fixed a lamp and started doing my taxes (yes it takes a quarantine). I'm reading Malcolm Gladwell's "Talking To Strangers" and doing some yoga and meditating.
May you feel safe.
May you love and share your love.
May you find solace in poetry.

And suddenly I'm in a play! It can happen just like that. An actress has an emergency and in the middle of a two week run you are asked to step in to the role, learn the script, the blocking, the backstage changes. You get two rehearsals and YOU'RE ON. At that speed it's all instinct and training and yes probably a lot of indicating but you're there for the team. Last night I went on as Maureen in Leah Joki's original play for the the Montana Playwrights Network. I managed to get the blocking and most of the lines. Two more performances. If you're in Missoula come to the DDC at 7:30. It 's a good play.
