2023 has been a massive year for me. I don't take enough time to celebrate these things so here I go makin the sappy IG post!
- I'm thankful that I've been able to make it to upwards of 120 shows this year. Sometimes, the hustle can he difficult, but every year I reaffirm that photographing music and arts is exactly what I need to be doing! I've been able to travel for work and make so many wonderful connections all across the state, region and country. I'm thankful for the weeks I spent touring with some of my best friends.
- I'm thankful for and for the last 7 or so months of ! We have worked very hard to provide as much music and arts programming/booking as possible, and it's been the realization of a dream to work alongside so many driven, talented, kind people to create wonderful space and opportunity. I'm excited for the next year of Daisy Chain and we couldn't have done it without all of our fellow Missoulians.
- I'm thankful for the community I've been able to generate for myself. I'm thankful for my wonderful partner , who has supported me in such immense, loving ways through high highs and low lows. I'm thankful and fortunate to be surrounded by love and support.
- I'm thankful for sobriety and still being able to party and remain excited for nightlife and work at the same time. Probably one of the hardest and best decisions I've ever made in my life.
- and I'm thankful for the future of arts and music in Missoula. I hope that together we're able to foster a greater, accessible and diverse community within and without; a way that supports artists here at home and those on the road.
I love you Missoula!!
