If this doesn't look like fun...we don't know what is! 🤩🦸🏻💥⚡️ Our first BodyCraft Summer Camp starts in a little more than a week, and we just can't wait!
The theme is...
💥 SUPER HERO — Invoke Your Alter Ego 💥
Explore what makes YOU uniquely powerful through dance, storytelling, improvisation, creative movement, and costume creation. Inspired by superheroes, secret identities, and acts of courage and kindness, students will develop their own alter ego, superhero name, powers, and origin story while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork as they collaborate to create original choreography.
Throughout the week, dancers will train daily in a fusion of ballet and contemporary/modern technique, participate in tea-time stories and discussions about bravery and integrity. Campers will design masks and capes, help choreograph movement phrases, and rehearse scenes inspired by superheroes overcoming challenges together.
The week culminates in a final class showing where students will reveal their superhero selves and celebrate the power of imagination, friendship, and courage.
