I'm so pleased with how this fun quilt turned out! Pattern is by Missouri Star. Piecing the quilt top with these cheery floral prints and essix linen was so enjoyable. I quilted it with an all-over hibiscus free motion design. Much of the back has hand-drawn notes from students as the quilt is for a very special teacher. If we didn't love her so much I might have considered keeping this one for myself!

I really enjoyed piecing and quilting this fun pattern! I wanted the custom quilting to enhance the mountains, trees and aquifer-type components of the quilt. I don't typically like making multiple versions of the same quilt but I like this one so much I am considering a flannel version!

Capy quilt is done and gifted to my sweet 8 year old for her birthday. I loved doing this soft yet playful bubble wave design. It kept the quilt super soft and cuddly, paired well with the cuddle backing, and I think also kept with the modern vibe of the quilt pattern. Love doing these soft free motion designs!
