❤️Congratulations to my Skylar Kincaid with Shiney Red Kadillac on her Reserve Championship (2nd across the board) in the Small Fry Showmanship at the Dixie National Quarter Horse Show, in Jackson Mississippi.
She did a great job!
She even topped that with a 2nd in the L1 Youth Showmanship (18 and under) with more than 15 in the class!

Around the Rings Photos and Results - Dixie Nationals EWD AQHA Show
Every year the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association sponsors the Mary Hopkins Memorial Equestrians with Disabilities AQHA Show at the Dixie National Quarter Horse Show. All four judges, Tom McBeath, Shawn Hays, Clay Cavinder, Chele McGauly, donated their services for the event, as did the show coordinator, announcers, show secretary and many more who made the show run like clockwork.

Wrap-up time for a great show! While I missed being with my beloved Carter, dear Sherman was a real gem who deserves lots of love and treats. Special thanks to Don Martin and Dr. Linda Smiley for allowing him to become part of the Rainbow Farms family. And, of course, the whole experience was only possible thanks to Leigh Ann Nosser and many many others who supported the Rainbow Farms Inc. team. I love being part of this amazing program. Naturally, we’ll conclude with the obligatory Post-Show Pretty Ribbon Pic, showing off some rather pretty ribbons indeed! Also, a version With Cat! Hopefully there will be a few more photos to share soon, but for now I’ll toss in a fun picture taken by Kelley Kay Massey while we were receiving our judges’ placings in the lead-up to our Great Triumph!

The fairgrounds is on its own water supply separate from the City of Jackson water system. Water is safe of the fairgrounds.
