Flamenco has different types of songs with different ranges of emotions. Some are happier songs such as rumbas, alegrias and others are more somber and sad such as tientos, and solea. Here I performed a tientos at España in McAllen Tx. with singer Celia Sellers, guitarrist Billy Thatcher, and cajon player Mike Saito, whose music allowed for a deeper exploration of emotions through singing, music and movement.
