Laguna Dance Theatre founded in 1985 under the direction of Shery Gilbert and is the official home of the nonprofit arts organization Laguna Ballet. We offer a two tract program for aspiring professional dancers, or those who wish continue their education at a collegiate level. Technique, pointe, variations, pas de deux, pilates, and dance history offer a well rounded dance education. Private coaching and original choreography are available. Spotlight, YAGP and Prix de Lausanne competitions are recommended. Laguna Ballet is a non-profit Ballet Company which provides professional-quality public performances throughout the year. These performing opportunities showcase local dancers whom range from elementary school-age to college. Laguna Dance Theater (LDT) is the training facility and home of the Laguna Ballet. Care is given to the developing physique of each dancer to forestall injury and maximize progress.
