Our first Drama meeting of the year will be next Wednesday, September 9 from 3:30-4:30 in the Studio Theater!

At the meeting, we will cover shows and dates for the full year, introduce the Drama Board members, explain how to officially join the Club for the year, post sign-up forms for technical theatre positions, show off this year's merch and how to purchase it, and talk about the 11th Hour Theatre Festival application.

Everyone is welcome, whether you want to continue in the Club or not... if you take classes or don't... with experience or without!

Audition forms are open! For any current students interested in auditioning for either the fall play or the competition play, please complete the form linked in the comments below prior to arriving for auditions.

Auditions will be on September 16th or 17th (choose one) after school in the Studio Theater from 3:30-6:30. Please be on time!

No experience is necessary, and auditions are open to all current Penn High School students, regardless of enrollment in the Theatre classes. Other than completing the form, no preparation is needed... just arrive on the day you select wearing clothes and shoes you can move around in!

The fall play is our "cast all," meaning that -- as long as your schedule works -- everyone who auditions is cast.

The competition play will perform locally and at regionals in mid-November, so students need to be available then. Please read the audition form carefully for all details.

Performers may audition to be considered for either/or show. Our theme this year is very ✨️mYsTeRiOuS✨️...!

Current students...

Are you interested in applying to serve as part of the production leadership team? If you would like to be considered for the role of student assistant-director, stage manager, or assistant stage manager for the fall play, competition play, musical, or spring play, come out to the meeting in the Studio Theater on Thursday, September 3 (next week)!

Any grade Penn student may apply for the stage management positions, and juniors and seniors are eligible for the assistant-director opening.
