HEY ALL! Sorry for the late update this season! We were really hoping to have THIS be the year we returned but due to Family obligations and focusing on a family members recovery from surgery we can't focus on our favorite out of Austin location. We will do everything in our power to return FINALLY, next season. We miss it in MINTURN, and we miss you ALL!

This is a very hard announcement to make.

For 7 years we have brought the Blue to The mountain at Minturn. After working very hard to find the staff we need to pull off another season and finding certain logistics this year hard to find solutions for, as well as the need to focus on the main operation in Austin which his currently on the verge of its next growth spurt with exciting new things on the horizon, we have decided to take this summer off from bringing the Blue Starlite to the High Rockies.

As the owner of the Blue it is so hard to except that this is what must happen. One of my personal favorite times of year are the weeks I get to open our Blue under a giant mountain in the cool crisp Colorado Air. Please stay tuned because there is still the chance we will bring a few nights of Movies under the stars to Minturn MID JULY in some form. We just cant bring the BIG Drive-in Operation for 6-8 weeks as we have in the past. I am hopeful that next year we can bring back the usual production to the mountain and this year will just end up being a one time summer break for Blue. More to come Stay Tuned! We can't wait to return. We really can't!

Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight surrounded by his wife Deborah, daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends.
His amazing career spanned 6 decades that saw him sell over 100 Million albums worldwide and star in over 65 movies, including “Fight Club”, “Focus”, “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Wayne’s World.”
“Bat Out of Hell” remains one of the top 10 selling albums of all time.
We know how much he meant to so many of you and we truly appreciate all of the love and support as we move through this time of grief in losing such an inspiring artist and beautiful man.
We thank you for your understanding of our need for privacy at this time.
